HCM Welcomes Jailain Hollon as 2024 Communications & Policy Fellow

Jailain Hollon Joins HCM’s Communications Team as a 2024 Spring Fellow

Originally from New York and now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Jailain Hollon is a seasoned media planning and digital strategy professional. With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Creative Writing, focusing on media ethics from CUNY Baruch College, Jailain has refined his storytelling and strategic communications abilities. He has significantly contributed to ad agencies like OMD, Wavemaker, and Havas Media Group in New York, specializing in multicultural communications, integrated media planning, strategy, and digital investment. His efforts have boosted brand visibility and engagement for notable clients, including King's Candy Crush, Sanofi, and Audible.

Jailain's communications career began with advocacy and campaign communications, which was evident during his time with the Working Families Party and at ExpandED Schools, where he led successful brand strategy campaigns and notably enhanced the ExpandED Pathways fellowship program. At Wavemaker, he managed Audible's campaign strategies, while at Havas Media Group, he facilitated high-value digital media buys for Sanofi's RSV campaign. Most recently at OMD, he managed King's most extensive annual campaign, the 2024 All-Stars campaign, achieving strategic placements on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, MAX, and Hulu, and during major events such as NBA on TNT and NCAA March Madness.

Outside of work, Jailain enjoys diverse interests and talents. He has contributed to the Netflix documentary 'The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson,' earning an IMDb credit. An enthusiastic gardener, he cultivates a vibrant garden at home, a skill learned from his parents. While he loves dogs, Jailain truly thrives as a cat person, lovingly sharing his home with his wife, daughter, and two cats.

Welcome to HCM, Jailain!
