HCM Welcomes New Team Members

HCM is proud to welcome two new members to HCM’s policy team of experts and two new senior affiliates to expand our consulting capacity: Darryl Hill as Managing Director, Lydia Hollon as K-12 Associate Director, and Jeff Stanley and Kelley Ditzel as senior affiliates! Join us in welcoming our newest members of the HCM team.

Darryl Hill

After an extensive national search, HCM is pleased to welcome Darryl Hill as Managing Director. Darryl brings to HCM a wealth of educational leadership experience from a career steeped in evidence-based change management and strategic planning, and he will lead a portfolio focused on career competitive skills. Most recently, Darryl served as a senior program officer for measurement, learning and evaluation on the K-12 team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In this role, he worked closely with the Networks for School Improvement portfolio and the K-12 math delivery teams in collaboration with foundation grantees for data collection and performance analysis. Lydia Hollon

Originally an HCM Summer 2022 K-12 Fellow, we are thrilled to welcome Lydia Hollon on a permanent basis as Associate Director on our K-12 team! Most recently, Lydia was a10th grade English teacher and grade-level chair. In her expanded role at HCM, she will continue to support our K-12 leadership and staff, as well as lead HCM’s work around parent engagement and other client initiatives. Jeff Stanley

HCM is excited to welcome back to our team Jeff Stanley as senior affiliate! Since the firm’s founding in 2008, Jeff has served as a key strategy and policy development partner for HCM’s postsecondary education clients. As such, Jeff has served HCM in a variety of capacities, most recently as a former principal and HCM’s chief of staff, where he led the development of the operations, finance and human resource department along with the management of the operations staff. As a senior affiliate, Jeff will continue to be a thought partner to HCM’s senior leadership and postsecondary clients on a variety of initiatives. Kelley Ditzel

Kelley Ditzel joins HCM’s team of senior affiliates after recently consulting for HCM on a collaborative project examining the postsecondary value proposition for Black learners amid a staggering, decades-long decline in enrollments—particularly at community colleges. In addition to her consulting work, Kelley is currently an Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Georgia College & State University, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in public administration, and directs both the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) Certificate Program and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management.
