Board Chair Appointments for HCM Strategists

We congratulate our CEO and Founding Partner Kristin Hultquist and our Senior Advisor Jimmy Clarke on their recent appointments as Board Chairs to Metropolitan State University of Denver and University of Louisiana System, respectively!

Appointed by Governor Jared Polis in 2020 to serve on the Board of Colorado’s largest Hispanic-serving institution, Kristin previously served as vice chair and chair of the governance committee, before being reappointed this month to serve as Board Chair for 2024. Jimmy was appointed in 2019 by former Louisiana Governor Jon Bel Edwards to serve on the System's Board of Supervisors, the management body of nine public universities in Louisiana. Before his confirmation this month to serve as the 2024 Board Chair, he previously served as vice chair of the board.

Combined with their years of policy experience at HCM and in the field, their board service continues to deepen their understanding of policy issues affecting every stakeholder in higher education.
