15 Years Strong, What’s Next for HCM Strategists

As we commemorate our anniversary, HCM Strategists is excited to announce a strategic organizational transition to better serve the evolving landscape of education, and build upon our 15 years of dedicated service in education policy.

Beginning in 2024, as we bid farewell to our beloved founding partner Terrell Halaska Dunn, HCM will intentionally partner within the postsecondary ecosystem, which includes not only colleges and universities, but an increasingly diverse field of networked providers of career-competitive learning and credentialing, including high schools, employers, trade associations, community-based organizations, and government entities. This refined focus will allow us to dedicate our resources and expertise to ensuring that we continue to deliver the cutting-edge solutions and strategic support that our clients require to thrive in a rapidly changing space.

In conjunction with this realignment, we are also thrilled to share that the K-12 segment of our firm, led by our longtime principal Cindi Williams, will build upon their more than a decade of success and expertise at HCM by founding a new sister organization in the new year. Cindi and her team will continue to help school systems across the country engage more thoughtfully and strategically with families and communities as they work to advance data-informed policies around high-quality curriculum and educational opportunities. This transition will enable both organizations to flourish in their respective domains while maintaining a collaborative partnership that leverages the strengths and specialized expertise of each organization.

HCM is deeply committed to the success of our clients and partners, and the students who are at the center of all that we do. As we enter this new era, our promise to deliver excellence and innovation remains steadfast. Our entire team remains committed to the transformative power of education systems to improve social and economic mobility for individuals and communities. We look forward to the opportunities for impact that lie ahead in higher education and to the continued growth of our K-12 sister firm.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients, partners, and the dedicated team members who have been instrumental in our success. Your support and trust have been the cornerstone of our achievements, and we are eager to embark on this next phase of our journey with you.

Here’s to the next 15 years and beyond!
